Into 2011
Innovation and diversity have fuelled and lled the Innermost
collection from its birth in 1999. Our urge to create exciting new
pieces, using new technologies and adapting to the changing
needs of our clients, continues to drive us forward.
We once said that ‘no house style’ was our house style – and this is
still true. Our mission today is to keep on strengthening our
lighting and furniture collections, and deliver items that will
continue to entice and inspire.
The simple philosophy of continuous innovation, bringing new Beads by Winnie Lui
items to market as quickly and as frequently as possible, means

that you may not always be able to guess it’s an Innermost product

just by its looks. But the creativity of the design and production,
those things that are ‘innermost’, will tell you it’s by Innermost.

7. Beads OCTO
Beads PENTA
Winnie Lui
graduated from Central Saint Martins in Fashion, Communication and
Promotion. In London, she learnt the skill of silversmithing from jewellery
designer Lara Bohinc. Winnie also has an accessories brand under her own
name where she creates tailor-made necklaces, brooches and millinery
pieces. Beads is the 2nd piece Winnie created for Innermost, following the
highly acclaimed limited edition ‘White Chandelier’ first made in 2007.
Beads brings together the best detailing and finishing from her jewellery
craft and blends it with the scale and technology of the lighting designer
to give us these strikingly rich designs. When lit the distinctive geometry
creates an array of infinite reflections on the interior that makes it feel as if
the inner surface is itself decorated.

11. Buckle is as an ambient lighting sculpture – it illuminates by bouncing
light off its own internal surfaces and provides background light, it
is neither a classic up or downlighter but produces a unqiue effect
all of its own. The feeling it creates has often been likened to light
bouncing off water.
13. Geeio Yuen
Fillet was a project lead by Geeio Yuen with the Innermost studio team. Geeio
is a graduate of University of Central England in Birmingham and Fillet was the
first major project he has run for us. Fillet is deliberately subtle, a large piece
with the most refined details that could be used either as a feature or in the
background. Both black and white finishes are matt and special colours can be
created to order.

design school, Parnham College in 1999 and began designing and
making one-off pieces to commission. In 2005 he set up his own design

scale production.
The Jeeves pendant light was designed as a playful take on lighting with
a real sense of cultural identity. The hat is an object that often associates
its wearer with a particular society, heritage or race. The Bowler is a
classic British cultural icon reflecting a bygone era of imperialism, class
divide and eccentricity.

67. HiHo
A fun yet stylish take on the traditional children’s rocking horse remade for grown-ups. Jarrod
Lim designed Hi Ho so you can sit forward and really ride or alternatively turn around and sit
back for a gentler comfortable rocking chair experience. Granny would approve.
Its practical too so it comes with a choice of synthetic fur or natural sheepskin and the covers are
removable for dry cleaning just in case anyone gets too excited.
Our lawyers told us to mention that ‘it’s not a toy and not suitable for children’ but we thought
that was a little unfair so we will be releasing a smaller version soon……
68. Koi
Design: Jarrod Lim
Koi
Koi takes the simple repetitive form of a fish
scale and turns it into both its aesthetic and
