•In this preamble the main aim
of constitution is Equality of
status and oppurtunity which is
our problem.
•In this country men and
women are not equal.
•In india recently there are
many problems face by
woman like
1.Women can’t be educated
properly
2.They sexually assualt by
men in mentally and
physically manner.
3.Infanticide by family
members.
Preamble of India
“Rapes in India as one of India's most
common crimes against women.”
•Sexual assault is defined as any
unwanted sexual act including forced
sexual contact and sexual touching
•Each year women report almost half
a million rapes and sexual assaults.
•Now a days there are many cases
regarding women rapes , Eve teasing
and molestone coming in various
states.
•In India feamles are less as
compared to men
•Mostly familier will kill their
baby girl when she born or in
womans stomach
•There is chart of sex ration of
girls then boys.
Problems In India
Status of women in India
• Women who are employed in
India only 64.2 % of those are
earning cash as compared to
91.5% of men who are employed.
• 34% of women in rural go to
market alone as compared to 64%
of urban area.
• In rural area 15% of women don’t
even go to market while in urban
area this state is 7%.
• Our constitution supports equality
of women by its articles number
14,15,16,19,23,25 and 39.
• A survey has shown that 9 out of
10 in urban women are sexually
harassed
• Moreover 63% of them are
harassed frequently or
occasionally.
Woman in politics
•Talking about India women has been
involved in politics since ages
•The very first name of a woman in
Indian politics who became a torch
leader for other women was Razia
Sultan. She was the only woman to
have ruled Delhi ever.
•There are many women’s who come
in politics.
•Today the number of female
politicians is less as compared to male
politicians but they seem to be standing
at more dominant and powerful
positions.
•At last I would like to conclude with a
quote “In politics, if you want anything
said, ask a man. If u want anything
done, ask a woman.”
Indira Priyadarshini
Gandhi(19 Nov 1917 – 31 Oct
1984) was the Third Prime
Minister of India and a central
figure of the Indian National
Congress party. She is the
second longest serving Prime
Minister of India and the only
woman to hold the office.
Chanda Kochhar (born 17
November 1961) is the managing
director (MD) of ICICI Bank and its
chief executive officer (CEO). ICICI
Bank is India's largest private bank
and overall second largest bank in the
country. She also heads the Corporate
Centre of ICICI Bank.
Now a days woman are in every field like in politics , Business, marketing ,education etc.

and when the rapist will get arrested and
according to our
India law they punished for only 3 years
