supports of government.
Government failure is a major concern.
At some points we don’t talk how to manage
existing systems like interlinking of rivers,
construction of dams. Although we emphasize
on constructing new dams which is highly
expensive.

Providing facilities to integrate small and poor
farmers.
There should be institutional innovations like
SHG, farmer club, joint liability groups etc.
Governments can increase public private

The critical issue in Indian agriculture are related
to knowledge and infrastructure
We have to become better at managing big
systems to achieve success in an endeavour
Although there is lack of initiatives and
institutions to tackle these issues
Small farmers who are especially vulnerable to
the monsoon should be focussed upon service
like credits should be made flexible
