1. Recent Academic Development / Achievements at Department of Pharmacy
“October, 2012 has brought so many Good News in the Development of Department of
Pharmacy, IEC Group of Institutions, as the department received various approval /
sanction / prizes and M. Pharm second semester result in this month. We are sharing
these informations with the whole family of IEC Group of Institutions. I am proud to be the
Head of such a versatile and growing department” said by Prof (Dr.) Bhanu P. S. Sagar,
Director of Pharmacy IEC Group of Institution, Gr. Noida on 30th Oct.2012.
On 12th of Oct.2012 department received the approval letter from Pharmacy Council of
India (PCI), under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act 1948, up to the academic session 2014-
2015.
Department also received a sanction letter from All India Council for Technical Education
(AICTE) against it’s application for GPAT scholarship for pursuing M.Pharm students i.e.
Mr. Ravinder Kr. Rawal (M.Pharm, Pharmaceutics). Mr. Rawal will receive a scholarship @
of Rs.8000/month for a period of two academic years. Department would like to
congratulate Mr. Ravinder Kr. Rawal.
Dr. Bhanu further told to “current” correspondent that department’s M.Pharm students
performed excellent in the second semester university (MTU) Exams as Department
achieved 100% result. Once again in M. Pharm and all the students secured first division.
More than 27% of students secured more than 75% of marks while 67.5 % students
secured more than 70% of marks. A summarized result is as follows:

No of student scoring more than 75% and above = 11 (27.5%)
No of student scoring more than 70% and above = 27(67.5%)
No of student scoring more than 60% and above = 39(100%)

2. Further, in co-curricular activity, twenty students had participated in Pharma Mindz
(Technical Fest) organized by ITS Paramedical (Pharmacy) College, Ghaziabad on
13/Oct/2012 , under the guidance of Mr Vijay Kumar Tilak and Mr Sheo Datta Maurya. Our
students have got 08 (Eight) Certificate of Achievements.
