The Mid-Island Rotary WCS Group is a partnership of 20 Rotary clubs on Vancouver Island that was formed in 2007. Over six years, the group has pooled funds to support 21 international projects in 10 countries, totaling $512,000 USD in funding. Projects have included building wells, latrines, and other infrastructure to support communities' access to water, sanitation, and education. The group meets regularly to identify eligible projects and leverage their pooled funds through Rotary Foundation grants.
