SAP ABAP certificate proves that the candidate has an
advanced understanding within this profile and is able to
apply these skills practically and provide guidance in

4. Levels of SAP ABAP Certification
 Two levels of certification for ABAP are available.
 Associate level - candidate is qualified to apply his skills
practically but under the experts' guidance in a project
environment.
 Professional level and is based on real world SAP
experience.

5. List of Available Certifications
a. Associate level:
 SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP Net
Weaver 7.0 (C_TAW12_70)This certificate means that the
person has fundamental understanding of SAP ABAP and
can apply these skills to an SAP project under supervision.
 SAP Certified Development Associate- ABAP with SAP Net
weaver 7.02 (C_TAW12_71) This certificate is same as above
but with newer version of SAP Net weaver.

6. b. Professional level:
SAP Certified Development Professional - ABAP
with SAP Net Weaver 7.0 (P_ABAP_70) - an
advanced understanding of the subject and can
apply skills and provide guidance in a project
environment.

7. SAP ABAP Certification Test Details:
 The exam is Computer based
 Three Hours to answer 80 Questions.
 Mostly multiple choice type
 No penalty for an incorrect answer.
 Some may have more than one correct answers.
 The Official Pass percentage is 65% (But this can vary).

8. Approach for SAP ABAP Certification:
 SAP ABAP training offered by SAP Education and
appearing for the certification examination at the end of
the training.
 Register and appear for certification exam without
attending any formal SAP training if you are having the
relevant experience in the SAP industry.
