The ISDS Research Committee has taken a giant step towards a more efficient, organized, and user-friendly Literature Review process with the addition of a citation manager - Zotero. This presentation provides an overview of Zotero.
2. Why use Zotero?
• Increasing Literature review process efficiency
– Export citations from Scopus
– Import into Zotero
– Easier to manage citations
• Making it easier for you to find article(s) you
are interested in
– Search
– Sort
6. Group Library
• Click ‘Group Library’ underneath ISDS
Research Committee Literature Review
7. Articles
• Click on the relevant Literature Review folder
to view article titles
8. Full Text
• Click on the title you are interested in to view more
information
• If the full text is available, it will be under ‘Notes and
Attachments’
9. Searching for Key Words
• If you are interested in particular topics, try using
the ‘Tags’ to search for key words
– Look through the list of available tags
– Type key word(s) to reduce number of available tags
11. Zotero
• Feel free to use the general ISDS account, so
that you do not have to:
– Download anything
– Create an individual account
• If you are interested, you can create your own
Zotero account
– Let me know your Zotero username and I will add
you to the ISDS Literature Review Group

• If create Zotero account, there are plug-ins for
Firefox and Google Chrome
