Most people who have a hard time forgiving themselves are self-righteous. They make themselves right in every light and then come around finding wrong in everything. Some people are in such denial that when they hear something is wrong with them and get convicted, they go fix it because they don’t want to be associated with that. But whatever the case may be you are fixing yourself. You’re self righteous.

1. Understanding Forgiveness
“Most people’s unforgiveness is a warning sign like “don’t touch this.”
“A lot of us are carrying so much stuff in our hearts that they are angry at
God.”
“If you’re thinking something and don’t say it by coming to God with it,
you’re sinning.”
“You cannot be phony when you come to God, you have to be honest when
you come to God and express it.”
“Anger is attached to unforgiveness.”
“We get angry with God which starts our unforgiveness because we didn’t
obey God from the start.
“Unforgiveness gives you limit and forgiveness gives you possibilities. "If I
forgive this thing or this person something is going to become possible.
“The more I have unforgiveness I’m limiting myself.”

2. “Unforgivness is attached to low self-esteem...no matter what you try to wear
or do.”
“In everything that you have a problem with, therein lies your possibility.”
“Unforgiveness makes you sick. That’s when you go to the doctor and they
can’t explain your sickness.”
“God is the only person on the face of this earth who is good, so you have to
see people as God to see them as some good. If you call yourself a Christian
you have to see yourself as some good because God sees you as some
good.”
“God is the only person who is good because He is the only person who paid
the price to preach and He never wanted you to understand how much it
cost, just walk in it. When you have unforgiveness you are paying for it.”
“We need forgiveness to even be able to carry His anointing.”

3. Selfishness:
“God doesn’t give His anointing to selfish people is because that selfishness
is tied to unforgiveness. If you are selfish you would use the anointing for
yourself not others. A lot of people are attached to your gift that’s why you
are tired and drained because you are dealing with people with no anointing
and they are like ticks that suck the life out of you and the enemy is laughing
because you don’t know you’re anointed.”
“Sin means to miss the mark. God is not upset at the fact that you sinned, He
already knew you were going to sin. He upset that you missed an opportunity
not sin because you make a choice right there. Sin is a debt that keeps you
from being released. The more sin and baggage you have the more you
cost.”
“Unforgiveness hinders us from going to the next level spiritually and
hinders our spiritual growth.”
Fear:
“Unforgiveness promotes the spirit of fear.”
“Often we have fear dying to ourselves because it’s going to cost some
pain.”

4. “When God says sell everything you have, that means set your heart to be
ready to do it if He says it.”
“This is how you know you operate in the spirit fear - when you choose sin. To
sin brings pleasure but to not sin brings suffering. The enemy wants you to
see the pleasure in sin because he knows you will suffer after the pleasure.”
“God does not forgive without repentance.”
“A person with an unforgiving spirit has an unrepentant spirit.”
“One who does not have the capability to forgive means that they won’t
humble themselves and they don’t have the capability to receive God’s
forgiveness. What they are really saying is, "God didn’t die for me.”
Matthew 16:19
“Unforgiveness stops your ability and power to bind or loose anything. You
have no authority to bind or loose anything if you have unforgiveness in your
heart, it’s forbidden. It takes power to forgive”
“Unforgiveness hinders God from forgiving you.”

5. What is forgiveness really:
“Forgiveness is really a gift and not everybody has the anointing to give that
gift.”
“When people hold forgiveness from you, they are holding up your gift.”
“Forgiveness is a gift because it’s liberating. Think if you had the gift to go to a
prison and release people. You can’t give the gift to yourself, somebody has to
give it to you.”
“Unforgiveness is torment because you really want revenge on somebody.
That’s a vicious thing to want to see somebody suffer when you have a choice
to free them.”
What will it take for me to forgive:
“To forgive it will take humility.”
“When you humble yourself and receive a person’s forgiveness you have just
gained a soul. God forgave you to gain you.”
“Some of the people you won’t forgive hold your biggest blessings.”
“Forgiveness is a source of power, but it doesn’t relieve a person of their
consequences. He will give you some of it, but not all of what you deserve.”

6. “Forgiveness can also mean a time of separation. Separation helps to bring
forgiveness.”
Luke 6:27
Why did I have to go through this:
“If God knew you would have listened, you wouldn’t have had to go through it. God
always warns you. There is always a warning sign you just ignored it.”
“The reason for some of our suffering is known only to God but when you suffer
you have to suffer like a good soldier. A lot of people ask God why they are in
something and He’s saying, “Walk out because I didn’t put you in it.” You put
yourself in it and declared it was God.”

out, but when you turn the lights on, they scatter. Satan does the same thing when

7. you hold stuff in that’s really wrong with you. He comes out and starts
crawling and messing with you.”
