5. You Can Take The Player Out Of The Game…But You Can’t Take The Game Away From The Player.
6. It started in Andrew’s Gym, moved up to the Hilo Civic, and ended in The Stan Sherriff Center…
7. The Great Mistake Is Fearing To Make One. And Never Say Never… If anyone told me that I would have a teammate who would win BIIFS and States I would have said it’s possible. If anyone told me I’d finish in the top two for singles my senior year and qualify for States three years in a row I would have said that will never happen.
8. Every Moment Is A Kodak Moment… Just a simple guy who is trying to find his way Through Life…

12. My Dad My dad has always been my biggest fan. He’s always there to support me and has always used different moments in my life as a way to teach me about the different situations I’ll face in life. He has worked so hard to support my family and me so I truly love and appreciate him for everything he does.
13. Grandma Lee Grandpa Lee According to my parents I was my grandma’s precious grandson. I could always put a smile on her face. I remember always going and visiting her and she would always have a musubi ready for me. I regret not spending more time with her before she past away. I wish that I had done more with her, or visited her more often. But I know even though I have these feelings I know she loves me. I was lucky to know my grandpa longer than my grandma. And after she pasted away I learned that life is special and you have to appreciate every moment you have with a person. My grandpa was a great man, and I appreciate everything he taught me. Everyday I think about the two of them, and remember how much they love me.
14. Gunnar Austin Austin is my one and only brother. He is the only person in the world who shares the same DNA with me. Even though we fight and argue we always have each other’s back. I would never let anyone hurt Austin and always want him to succeed. Even though sometimes it seems like we don’t care about each other we both know that at the end of the day we still have each other to count on.
15. Fernando Aguirregomezcorta Even though Fernando was only in Hawaii for one year he was one of the greatest friends I ever had. He was such an inspiration and a great person to talk to. People just remember him as a great tennis player, however, I got to know him as a person. He taught me so much about myself, and how I should never sell myself short because the first step to succeeding at anything is having belief in yourself.
16. The Homies There are so many different individuals in the class who have touched my life in a special way. If I could I would name each and every one of them. However, because of certain restrictions I can’t. However, I just want all of you that I appreciate everything you have done for me throughout high school. You all have a special place in my heart. I would especially like to recognize Devyn, Cruz, Derek, Jacob, Keyin, Steve, Chris, and Robby.

18. God My faith has always played a vital and key role in my development. During the difficult times in my life God has always helped my get through the darkness. Even though there have been moments in my life where I have doubted God there has always been light at the end of the tunnel. Without God I do not know how I would have gotten through the dark times, or where I would be today.
19. Being at a Catholic School it wasn’t hard to build a relationship with God. In preschool I was taught that God is our father and loves us, therefore we must love God back.
20. Throughout my life I have been extremely active in my parish. Since third grade I have been an altar server. When I first started altar serving people in the clergy could not see me when I set the altar because I was so small. Recently I was ordained a lector, and once or twice a month I read either the first or second reading at mass.
21. What Life Means To Me… Life is something that is extremely precious. I’ve learned that you can never take granted the people you have in your life. One needs to cherish every moment in life, because just like that you can lose something or someone who is an important individual.
22. Aloha Means Hello And Goodbye. I’m beginning to go through the transition of realizing I’ll be leaving Hawaii, but that is what life is about…Broadening one’s views and horizons.
23. The Most Important Thing In Life Is… Life is nothing if you cannot share your joy and happiness with the ones you love. The greatest joy is sharing special moments with others who you care about.
24. We Are The World. I believe that every person in the world has been created for a special reason. Each person in the world has the ability to do something outstanding. Anyone has a chance to make a difference, however it is their choice and responsibility to take the initiative.
25. Although human beings may be separated by race, language, or location we are still the same species. To see our species thrive and grow, we must put aside our differences and work for the same goals…Unity and Peace.
26. The Ultimate Measure Of A Man, Is Not Where He Stands In Moments of Comforts And Conveniences, But Where He Stands At Times Of Challenge And Controversy. In our world today, there are too many people who settle. Those people are not willing to sacrifice for what is best not only for them, but also for others. I’m glad that in my world and life I was surrounded by people who refused to quit when the odds were against us. People who can fight through trying times are the strongest and most heroic people you will ever meet.
