2. Every person sins in their own special ways. It doesn’t matter if you’re a Christian or just some person on the streets. Every one sins. But a lot of people do not realize that we need to give our lives to Jesus Christ and make us clean again. Jesus Christ is the one and only one who can make us clean and set us free of our everyday sins and give us a clean heart, and most of all, give us eternity in Heaven with the one who created us and the one who forgave our every sins.
3. 2 Corinthians 5:21 “Christ had no sin, but God made him sin so that In Christ we become right with God.” ~ God took His only son into the world for one reason and one reason only. To make sinners free and save our souls and make us right with God. God turned his back on his Son while He was beaten for doing what God sent him into the world to do. After His death, it was only through him that everyone is saved because he takes our sin and rips it from our grip and takes it upon himself so that God will allow us in heaven because we are clean by the mighty Cross and our loving Savior who was risen from the dead after three days.
4. Psalms 103: 2-14 “Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits- who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel: The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust”.”
5. The words written in the Bible are the truth that God wants us to know. If we obey God with our hearts and actions, we are doing the work of Christ. If we go about our days living as our bodies want; we are not doing what God wants and that makes God hurt. He does not hurt for himself but for us. God made us and he sent his only Son into the world to save you and I. For it is only through the Blood of Jesus Christ we are saved and free for all eternity in Heaven. The words in Psalms are trying to tell us that even though we sin; Jesus died to save you from that sin that weighs heavy in your heart. He is waiting for you to acknowledge his death and resurrection and come to him for everything. The pain you have will be set free and Jesus will be there holding your hand through your every trial. All you have to do is run to him and stop running away from him. Jesus Christ is the one and only who can save you from yourself. Run to him now because he is waiting to show you how much he loves you.
6. What it Sin? "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.“ Proverbs 3:5-6 Sin is something you think or do that is evil or is something God does not approve of. Sin is something God doesn’t want you doing because it is controlled by Satan which is also something your flesh desires. Sin can evade and corrupt your mind, body and soul if you are not careful to quickly reject that evil desire. Sins are something that your flesh loves more than anything because evil desires and temptations are the World’s best friend. Satan is our flesh’s best friend because when we were born into the world; our bodies and minds starting adapting to worldly things and desires which were produced by Satan himself. If we do not reject the devil when evil thoughts come about, he will not leave. If we reject him in the name of the lord, he will flee from you. It is not easy to follow the works of God because he commands us to follow his ways; not ours. In that regard; we must trust in the lord to help us when temptations strike us like lightning. The more we follow God and stay in his presence, the more strength we will have to resist all evil thoughts and desires.
7. Psalm 18:2-6 "The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies. The cords of death entangled me; the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me. The cords of the grave coiled around me; the snares of death confronted me. In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.“ ~ He holds me in the midst of every storm, he apprehends the victims and makes them free. The Lord’s Blood washes over me like a never-ending flood, I am subdued by my creator, and saved from the mighty temptations that test my strength. I cry no more tears of pain, for my heavenly father has wiped them all away, into dust the sadness fades, into the mist, all darkness fades, light is all I see, joy is all I hear, My savior has come to draw me near, I am still and filled with love, now I shall make peace with myself and lay everything at the precious feet of Jesus. For I have been saved by Jesus, for he died to set me free, I am thankful for everything, for it’s in the name of Jesus I pray; AMEN.By: Heather Nichols
