1. It’s time to vote for
what you value...
Vote for
Dr Helen Salisbury
on 7 May
National Health
Action Party
Since 1948, the National Health Service has been there for us all,
giving equal access to the free, high-quality healthcare that is the bed-
rock of our civilised and decent society. But now it is in danger from the
twin threats of underfunding and privatisation.
We might get ill, we will get older, so we need to work together to rebuild
our health and social care services. Expert studies show that we can
afford a publicly owned NHS – we spend less on health and achieve
more than our European neighbours. We need a strong NHS for a
strong economy - spending on healthcare stimulates economic growth
whereas austerity increases the need for health services.
Make a positive choice on 7th May and vote for a party you can trust.
A vote for the LibDems is a vote for five more years of coalition austerity.
Vote NHA and send Dr Helen Salisbury to parliament.

ELECTION COMMUNICATION
2. In parliament, the National Health
Action Party will speak with authority
based on professional medical
expertise, setting the agenda on
health and social care.
We will be vocal and active MPs,
exposing the people and companies
who expect to profit from wrecking the
NHS and other public services.
We will hold the government to
account to make sure the NHS is
properly paid for and efficiently run.
For 20 years I have lived and worked
locally, listening to the concerns of
patients and colleagues. As a GP
I see first-hand the damaging effects
of austerity policies.
We must protect our countryside and,
at the same time, build affordable
housing for the people of Oxford and
Abingdon and their families.
I’ll be an advocate for public spending
on education, transport, flood relief and
local services – putting money to work
in society rather than feeding rising
inequality and the housing bubble.
