2. Some of My ideas
Ø Going to a old people care
centre and having a nice
chat with them.
Ø Creating Youtube channel
on make up and lasts
fashion.
Ø How Indian culture inspires
the youth
Ø Photography
6. My Target Audience
Target audience:
q Teenagers aged from fifteen to eighteen, the reason for this is that I have a large audience that is aimed within
in this age range in my college. Not only that but I have a lot of research sources within this age range.
q All genders and ethnicities. The reason for this is that in east London there isn’t one specific ethnicity all
around, it has a variety of ethnicities, so my journal isn’t aimed at any ethnicity. The reason why it is aimed
at all genders is because not only boys are involved in girls and crime it is girls is well.
q The life style that my target audience should be living is a life that they want to change they also should be
attending college as a daily life routine. Their social class would be D and E, this is because some of them
would be doing part time work to make pocket money, most of the work they would be doing would be
un- skilled work.
7. The Purpose
The east side on London has been corrupted by its
own young youth who are involved in drugs and
crime, there are also statists that East London has a
very high rate of crime and drugs that has been
done by teenagers and young adults; considering
this matter the purpose of my e- website and e-
magazine is to keep the east London young youth
out of drugs and crime. The purpose of my website
and e- magazine is to inform and educate teenagers
that there are better things to do then drugs and
crimes.

Here is a video
that gives
evidence about
the statement
that I have just
made:
8. The Platform I will use
The platform for my digital journal will be on a website and e-
magazine. The reason why I have chosen why I have chosen a
website as my platform is because it is very easy for my target
audience to access the internet. One article is going to be on a
Bollywood dancing club, the second article is going to be about
the Bollywood culture and how it has changed throughout time.
There will also be pictures explaining these articles.

9. Synopsis
The Overall synopsis is that I will create a
website and e- magazine on joining a
Bollywood dance club and on how the Indian/
Bollywood culture has changed throughout
with time.
10. Logistics: Achievable & Location
My idea is achievable, I say this
because I have enough
research sources, for example
the pupils from my college. Not
only that but I have my
photography skills from media
which I can transfer to this
project, because I will be taking
pictures to add in my website
and magazine.
The location I will use for my idea is the
club I dance for, which is based on Lay
Street in Ilford. I will take pictures in their
dance venue. I will also use this venue
to film my interview with consumers. For
my second article about how Indian
culture has changed throughout the
location will be my aunties house, this is
because she is very old and cannot walk
so I will interview her at her own house
about this topic.
11. Logistics: Time, organisation &Resources
To create my website and magazine I will
need a time frame which would be
approximately 12 hours in total, the reason
for this because to do my actual research
for both of them I will need 4 hours
because I have to take interviews and
pictures, and I also need to upload them
and edit them. To write the articles I will
need about 3 hours. Finally To make both
the actual website and magazine page
cover I would need 2 and a half hours for
each of them.
I need a very high level of organisation, this is
because I have to do a lot of primary and secondary
research in the topics I have picked. An example
would be that I need to organise when to go to the
venue to take pictures and to interviews, find out
what time my interviews can be interviewed and
locate how long I need for the interview. I will need
to make a planner for a week, and write what needs
to completed on specific days in order to finish my
project on time.
To make this project I need resources
for example a camera to take picture
and take the video of the interview. This
means I need to book equipment on my
college website. I am the only person in
the team, which means I don’t need a
personnel.
12. Legal Issues
Legal issue is a question of law. Moral issue is any issue with the potential to help or harm anyone,
including oneself. Ethical issue is A problem or situation that requires a person or organization to choose
between alternatives that must be evaluated as right (ethical) or wrong (unethical). None of these issues will
be in my journal as I follow the legal laws.
13. IPSO
The Independent Press Standards Organization (IPSO) is the independent regulator of the newspaper
and magazine industry. They administer the Editors’ code of practise and take active steps to ensure that
publications adhere to it. IPSO help handle complaints from members of the public about breaches of the
Editors' Code of Practice.
The code that apply to me from the codes of practice from IPSO is accuracy, because when I interview I
need to write the notes clearly and correctly as I will be quoting them in my article. Another code that
applies to me is privacy, because I will be taking pictures of consumers under the age of sixteen, so this
means that I need their parents’ consent on written paper.
14. Sketch of my Magazine spread page
q The main image conveys the main subject of
the article.
q There are also smaller pictures of the main
image, this has been done to suggest to
the reader that it will be all about them
and their culture.
q You also see that in the small pictures they
are dancing this has a connotation that
they will be dancing up- beat and fun
character. These images will be black and
white, this may suggest that they are less
important.
q The title runs through the whole page, this
makes it bold and stand out more.
