1955 Hans H. Plisch founded the company. Plisch produces measurement
equipment for analog TV
1964 The German Federal Postal Service expands the UHF transmission
network and commissioned PLISCH with the development of the first
transposer technology
1970 After successful years PLISCH introduces the linearity pre corrector and
thus enables an immense expansion of the transmission range
1978 Introduction of Jolly B, the first Transposer with a modular structure.

Mr. Geoffrey Bray is a successful businessman and longstanding shareholder of Plisch, now approaching 14 years. His other
business interest is Segnet Ltd, a British company he founded 26 years ago.
His career began with Rediffusion Ltd., in 1969 as a student engineer involved with HF and RF Cable Television and Radio
distribution networks.
In 1988 Mr. Bray founded Segnet Ltd, which has played a major role in shaping UK cable systems and digital roll-out
programmes.
In 1993 Segnet partnered with the co-founders of Harmonic (Lightwaves) Inc. and quickly secured large-scale HFC (Hybrid Fibre
Coax) projects with major MSO’s in the UK. This association produced revenues of over USD $20m for Segnet within 3 years,
during which time Harmonic (Lightwaves) Inc. successfully launched an IPO raising USD $250m. Mr. Bray still holds shares in
this company.
In 1998 Segnet won the SCTE award for technical innovation for its patented DOCSIS segmentation management system. In
2001 Segnet was awarded the coveted ‘Queen’s Award for Innovation’ in recognition of this.
Segnet continues to design and develop critical broadcast transmission and measuring equipment for use in HFC networks and
has R&D facilities in Germany. Major customers include Virgin Media (Liberty Global) and KDG (Vodafone).
