Wherever outdoor furniture is sold is where you should start looking for outdoor furniture cushions, as that is Rob G on Charge Tti
where they can usually be found. When you go shopping for anything you can use outside on your patio or in
your yard, like at your towns home and garden store, you should be able to find outdoor furniture cushions as
well. Taking the first deal youre offered or what you see at your first look is likely not such a good idea. The
best deals are found with a little shopping. You dont have to shop til you drop, but some effort will likely pay
off handsomely. Look around for more than one home and garden store in your area and check them all for
prices and selection. Youll get to see the many styles that they all carry making you more likely to find
something that you really like at a good comparative price as well by seeing the range of prices in the market
when youre needing your replacement cushions.
Having new outdoor furniture cushions made to order as a custom order is always an option if you cant find
something you like at all the home and garden shops you find. Having new cushions made exactly to your
specifications can usually be done at one of the embroidery shops or sewing shops around your area. They
can make it just like you want if you tell them what sizes you need and what style, color and texture are
important to you. In order for them to better match your existing patio furniture you may want to take pictures
of your outdoor patio furniture along with the measurements for the cushions you need custom made.
Making sure they are comfortable and making sure that they will hold up in the bad weather you may have in
your area is a major consideration no matter how you choose to replace your outdoor furniture cushions.
Then you can be confident that your new outdoor furniture cushions will provide so much comfort when they
are fashioned to fit and match your patio furniture when your guests visit and youll know that they are going
to have a great visit.
Looking for the best deals at your local retailers or on the internet will result in some great deals. Your
choices as a consumer for outdoor furniture cushions are many. Your choices for style, color and texture of
the material and what youre willing to spend will be your major criteria.

What is the best way to clean outdoor furniture cushions?

Another way to do it is power washing them. That’s the way my husband does, it and it’s one less thing for me to
do!
Then you just ket them air dry in the sun. You could wash them in the tub, or scrub them with something, this way
is quicker and very effective.
They come out looking very new.

Is it okay to leave outdoor furniture cushions outside in the rain?
That’s probably a silly question. I imagine they are made for outdoors, but I wasn’t sure if they were okay even if they
weren’t covered when it rains. I didn’t want them to mildew or stay wet for days or anything….

Depending on the fabric (sunbrella, acrylics, spun poly)… you should be able to keep your cushions out in the rain
if you’re just talking an occasional sprinkle or light rain. They should be stored indoors during rainy seasons
though.

How to clean outdoor furniture cushions with mold?
I purchased a porch swing last year and recently discovered two spots that look dark like mold on them. The swing
was snowed this past winter and has now dried thoroughly. I was wondering if there is something I can use to spot
clean to remove these stains that will not damage the fabric. The cushions are too large to put in my washing

Yes Chlorine or bleach diluted in water use very little bleach and
a little joy. You remove mold in layers so scrubbing is most often
necessary. Also there is an environmentally friendly product
available at http://www.greenmoldcleaner.com/

How do I remove mold from my outdoor furniture cushions? They are made w/ outdoor fabric, yet still have mold
I live is SouthWest Florida where mold is a major issue.
Is there any way to treat them so they don’t continue to get mold
growing on them. It’s costing a fortune to continuously replace them.

I had the same problem and found DampRid Mold and Mildew Remover and Protector. It kills the mold that is
already existing and prevents it from getting it again. I reapply a couple times during the summer and before I
store them for the winter. Mine get hit with the automatic sprinklers everyday. You can find it at the Lowes.

Do I need to bring my Sunbrella outdoor furniture cushions inside, every time it rains?

No, but the cushions need to dry out completely to prevent mildew, and fading is the biggest issue.

How do I deter squirrels from ruining my outdoor furniture cushions, this is the second set they’ve destroyed?
the squirrels have used their claws to open up the fabric then they have proceded to tear out the stuffing to use for
their nests.

You can get a chemical spray from the pet store that deters animals from chewing. It is like a bitter, unharmful
chemical that animals find unpleasant. I have a pet squirrel and bought some to keep her from doing precisely
what your outdoor squirrels are doing. She would chew up my couch pillows and use the stuffing to haul back in
her cage to stuff in her nest box;0) It worked.

If they’re vinyl, nothing will work. If they’re canvas, either latex or fabric paint.

How can I get mold off of cloth cushions for outdoor furniture?
I’ve kept my cushions in a plastic box and some rain must have seeped in causing my cushions to get mold on them.
I don’t want to use bleach because obviously that would cause the colour to fade.

7. There is a great new product by DampRId made to prevent and remove mold/mildew, is non toxic and fume free. I
used it on my outdoor furniture cusions that are brightly colored and it removed the mildew. It is safe for all fabrics,
will not fade or bleach them and leaves a protective residue that inhibits the growth of mold and mildew. It is an
easy to use spray on application and you can find it at Lowes in the cleaning aisle for around $5.

How to do I protect outdoor patio furniture w/cushions?
We just bought a patio set which includes thick chair cushions. They say they have been treated to be water repellant.
Do we need to move them every time it rains? What else should I do to protect the padding? Thanks.

The padding is also designed to be fast drying, but if it is going to rain Friday night or Saturday morning and you
know you’re going to use it Saturday afternoon, it might not dry fast enough for you.
Being water repellent and fast drying are certainly a help, but they still tend to get a bit dirty out there. If I’m not
going to be using them during the work week, I take them in and put them back on the weekend. If you notice after
a few months that they are not as water repellent as they were, you can buy a spray can of the repellent to renew.

How do you remove mildew spots from outdoor furniture cushions?
The fabric is a print so I can not use any bleach/produts that contain bleach.

Exposing a stained article to the sunlight will kill off the mildew/ mold, but if a stain is left , apply lemon juice to
washable fabrics and leave to dry . A peroxide solution may also be used on washable fabrics
