2. Creative Arts Therapy is defined as the use of an art (painting, poetry,
dance, music, etc.) to promote wellness and general well-being. Many
companies are adding to creative arts therapy to their wellness pro-
grams, to help their employee manage the stress of life in the 21st
century, thus creating “creative wellness programs.”
First and foremost, our programs are desinged to connect participants
to themselves and their community. By providing a platform for cre-
ative expression, we help participants connect to themselves. By pro-
viding a safe, friendly atmosphere, we help participants connect to their
coworkers or community.
In addition, each of our programs contain the following three elements:
1. Mindful breathing at the beginning and end
2. Time for reflection on the program
3. Sharing with peers

in organizations without a wellness program. The return
on investment in wellness programs can be as much as $6
saved for every $1 spent.

The process of making art — whether that be writing, painting, sing-
ing, dancing, or playing music — is good for you. There are both
physical and mental benefits from creative expression, and sharing
something with the world: significant improvements in various mea-
sures of physical health, like lower blood pressure, better sleep, re-
ductions in visits to physicians, and better immune system
functioning.

enjoys bringing people together
and sharing his passion for
sound. His great personality
puts people at ease instantly.
Doug has been performing and
drumming since he was 12 years
old. He has a background in theater,
mime, and improvisation. Hi is the
coordinator of the Bonita Springs
Drum Circle.
A classically trained dancer,
Michaela has a BFA in Dance
from Univ of Cincinatti and
currently teaches, performs and
competes nationally.
Isabel is a certified yoga instructor
and utilizes a various instruments,
including crystal bowls, flute and
hand instruments. Her specialization
is the creation of healing, meditative
spaces.
