Font Ideas&
Colour Scheme
BY :Georgina Solomon
Why is it important ?
The font is important within the Digipak
because it need to represent the artist and
the image we are aiming to create . As artist's
genre is Hip pop the font style would have to
emulate this music style . Therefore we would
not have formal text, as this does not fit the
conventions of our genre. The text style has
to look good in a variation of sizes as this is
going to be repeated throughout the Digipak
therefore it has to be very legible , for the
audience to be able to read it .
The Font Styles
Final Decision
After research and taking everything into
consideration this was the most appropiate text
to use within the Digiapak . The text is unique
and it looks simplistic however it is still
appealing to the eye. Moreover this font style
will look good in a variation of styles .This is
one of the most important aspects . Lastly the
text looks like graffiti this is an art form
associated with Altered Mind’s genre
Colour Schemes
Black And White
When researching colour
schemes black and white was the
first idea that came to mind.
Reasons for this is because the
two colours work very well .
Although some may argue that it is
a very predictable however the two
colours mesh well together. With
an integrate design the Digipak
could look outstanding with using
just two colours.
Colour
Bright colours is not normally
associated with the hip hop genre
however in order to stand out the
Digipak needs to have some
originality. The use of colour is an
way of targeting an audience to
focus their attention on something.
