A SHORT WELCOME FROM OUR
DIRECTORS
I am delighted to introduce the 2011 - 2012 Ospreys Corporate Brochure. In recent months you will have
noticed that the organisation has undergone a huge amount of change, but be in no doubt that it remains the
One True Region, committed to the development of Ospreylians and your commercial support is vital to ensure
this continues to be the case.
Once again Ospreylia made up the largest representation of players in the Welsh national squad for the Rugby World Cup and if this trend is to
remain, via the ongoing hard work to develop and produce local talent to wear the Osprey jersey, then we all have a part to play.
Individuals such as Jonathan Thomas, Alun Wyn Jones, Paul James and Justin Tipuric reflect the Osprey way - that is identifying and developing
local talent to international standard. These players represent Ospreylia in the Heineken Cup, RaboDirect PRO 12 and LV= Cup and they
genuinely have a cause to play for - Ospreylia – something they do with real pride.
We are fortunate to be able to call the Liberty Stadium home. One of the most impressive venues in Wales the Liberty is recognised as one of the
finest match day venues in Britain for rugby. With fantastic views from every seat, a great atmosphere in the stands created by passionate
supporters, and a fantastic hospitality environment, it really is a fantastic place to do business.
We have worked hard to ensure a traditional club rugby feel in a modern professional environment, providing the ultimate rugby experience, with
a real mix of packages available both match by match or season long to suit all needs and budgets. One of our core values in the Ospreys is to
ensure everyone feels part of a family and our many existing commercial partners will testify to having been made feel a real part of this family.
