6. Genesis 17:1 “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am El-Shaddai—‘God Almighty.’ Serve me faithfully and live a blameless life.”
8. Genesis 14:22-23 “Abram replied to the king of Sodom, “I solemnly swear to the Lord, God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth, that I will not take so much as a single thread or sandal thong from what belongs to you. Otherwise you might say, ‘I am the one who made Abram rich.’”
9. Abraham made a covenant of dependence on God, to believe that God was his only source of provision.
10. Abraham new those riches came from the hand of God, that’s why he became one of the most powerful men of his time. His dependence on God was absolute.
14. Psalms 62:10 “Don’t make your living by extortion or put your hope in stealing. And if your wealth increases, don’t make it the center of your life.”
16. Matthew 25:20-21 “The servant to whom he had entrusted the five bags of silver came forward with five more and said, ‘Master, you gave me five bags of silver to invest, and I have earned five more.’ The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’
18. John 10:10 “The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I have come that you might have life and life more abundantly.”
19. Romans 12:2 “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.” Renew Your Mind
20. We can only conquer our abundant life through the cross. It was there that Jesus canceled every curse and argument that was against us. Therefore we need to walk with a renewed mind.
