Walk-In Service No Longer Available
• Effective April 1, 2014 – Walk-In service at the TRICARE
Service Centers (TSCs) within the 50 United States, will no
longer be available
• The TSC Elimination is a Government directive
• Due to the increase in electronic capabilities, the need for
walk-in locations has lessened
• This change will save the Department of Defense (DoD) an
estimated $254 million over five years
