THE ‘CS.TOUR’ PROJECT HAS DEVELOPED A TRAINING COURSE FOR THE TOURISM INDUSTRY
The CS.Tour partnershiphas developedacustomizedtrainingcourse for the tourismand hospitality
industry employees. The first draft of the developed materials will be piloted already in spring.
The course consists of the curriculum, methodological training kit, and special training platform, all
designedto developthe appropriate social andcultural awarenessskills.The developedmaterialscan
be used by multiple targets, ranging from educational institutions to businesses or even learners
themselves.
“Our researchshowed,thatthere are veryfew courses,dedicatedtodevelopmentsocial andcultural
awarenesswithintourismsphereinSweden.The course we’vedevelopedisamongfirststepstocover
this gap. The course is developed in accordance to European Reference Frameworkand can be used
by multiplestakeholders”, - saysAli Rashidi,the directorof DepartmentforInternational Cooperation
of Folkuniversitetet.
CS.Tour is 32 months project, launched in September 2015. The CS.Tour consortium consist of nine
organisationsfrom5 EuropeancountriesGreece,Spain,UK,Sweden&Cyprus),all involvedinHuman
Resources development and support services to tourism and hospitality sector.
