A couple of highlights from attached slide: -BOLD ALLIGATOR 2012 (quote from ADM Harvey: "demonstrating our uniquely Naval, rpt Naval, ability to establish a sea base and conduct and sustain a wide range of expeditionary operations from the sea") -Bicentennial celebration of WAR OF 1812 (quote from CNO's latest post: "great year to celebrate our heritage and the bicentennial of the War of 1812, it is a good time for us to reflect on where we came from. A lot of lessons that we learned in 1812 are still pertinent today, such as the importance of innovation and being ready.") Lots of heavy lifting to be done as we sharpen the saw and showcase the Navy-Marine Corps team during Bold Alligator 2012.
