1919 – foundation of the first in the history of national economic education
institution of higher education specialized in finance – Moscow Institute of Finance
and Economics
1934 – Moscow Institute of Credit and Economics
1946 – Moscow Institute of Finance and Economics merged with Moscow Institute
of Credit and Economics and became Moscow Finance Institute
1991 – the State Finance Academy
1992 – the Finance Academy under the Government of the
Russian Federation
July 14, 2010 – Financial University under the Government of the Russian
Federation
2011-2012 – Subsequent to the Resolution of the Government of the Russian
