Session Title: Mobile Learning: It Takes a Village
Notas do Editor
When we started this we realized that FSU didn’t really have a mobile presence. We has just started using the Blackboard Mobile Learn app (which we used the free version of, now we purchased) . It is available as a free download through iTunes or Google apps (tablets)We have a mobile website called FSU go guide. It is a temporary place holder until we get our FSU choose guide up. The Go guide is a word press site that started for 2 reasons. 1) we had a ipad pilot happening and we wanted to start capturing and sharing information about it and 2) we had number of faculty and staff that had ipads and wanted to start having some discussions about it. ETO started a weekly ipad lunch group and started posting on this FSU go guide site. It includes stuff like….FSU go (beta) and we are planning to go live mid June FSU choose going live mid August.
