Rabbits are social animals, and it's better to have more than one. Ideally, they should be of similar sizes, to stop bullying. Rabbits from the same litter get on well, but should always be neutered. Un-related females generally tolerate each other given enough space, but may still fight. Un-related males will almost certainly fight and can inflict nasty injuries.
7. It is also a good idea to pick two
rabbits who will get along by
introducing them to each other when
they are very young so they are used
to each other.
8. Another thing is that rabbits and
guinea pigs don’t make good
housemates because they are a
totally different species to each
other and rabbits tend to bully
guinea pigs because they are
smaller than themselves.
9. It is a good idea to socialise
rabbits when they are very
young because that way they
develop into confident and
friendly adults with being
exposed to a variety of
situations.
10. Humans and rabbits get along really
well and your rabbit will welcome
playtime, however, it is important that
your rabbit also has interaction with
another rabbit for it to be able to be
truly - a happy bunny.
