Eric Bucklin was the Technical Operations Manager at Telnexus and provided IT support and
project management services for us at Fire Cause Analysis from August 2015 to July 2016. As a
project manager, Eric was responsible for 1) implementing Google Apps for Work throughout
our organization, 2) upgrading our network, 3) installing a new server, 4) migrating over 35
years of data, photos, video and documents to cloud storage, 5) implementing a robust backup
system for our server and cloud storage, and 6) building out a new server for fire modeling. I am
pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Eric.
Eric was a pleasure to work with through the project. He has many talents, but the most
outstanding one is his communication skills. He was able to communicate the various
complexities of upgrading our entire IT infrastructure into easy to comprehend concepts that all
stakeholders could understand. He walked us through each step of the project, kept us updated
on timelines, and helped us with decision making along the way. In addition, he worked
seamlessly with our inhouse IT professional. I attribute the success of the IT upgrade to Eric’s
knowledge and his ability to translate technical ideas, clearly communicate risks and benefits,
and work well with all stakeholders. He is an exceptional IT Project Manager.
The project success allowed our company to have a more stable and robust IT infrastructure
that will grow with the company. We are particularly excited about the functionality and features
of Google Apps which will help us keep more easily connected to our remote employees.
