1. Let’s visit Urbania!
Urbania is a small town in the marche
region and it is full of ancient buildings
and great places to visit!

2. The cathedral dates back to ancient Benedictine
abbey of St. Christopher in the Bridge of the
ninth century. This building was renovated by
Basil Cardinal Bessarion in the second half of the
fifteenth century.Later in the eighteenth century
the church was again rebuilt in neoclassical style
by Giuseppe Tosi. Later are the facade (1870)
and the new bell tower (1958), however, remain
traces of the medieval bell tower.

IN URBANIA IS THE CURCH OF THE
DEADS…THERE ARE SKELETONS
