Review of educational technology I
The educational technology that courses has
truly paved the learner to become aware, equipped to
used educational technology tools ranging from
traditional to modern educational media. And give us
more idea how to become effective the teaching into the
learner using modern media.

Overview of Educational Technology II
Concerned with Integrating in Educational Teaching-
Learning. It is introducing, supplementing and extending
knowledge and skills to the learners they become exemplary
users.
Also this is more surfing, searching, and be deeper the
understanding on the gadgets. The user can be learn more by
using hands-on application by using computer skills.
What is Educational Technology (for us)
This taught in school for the learners to be
more effective their information in Educational
Technology, and how to use in the day when you
will used it. To be students, were here for concrete
learning and enhance our skills and ability by
using technologies.
Technology: Boon or Bane
Technology today is an integral part of
everybody life. Rapid advancements in the field
has increased the pace of life, effectively
coordinating reality with innovation.
Technology is one of the greatest of invention of
mankind.
It is so powerful that it shapes our thinking and
our way of life within no time. Technology is a tool
invented and sharpened by humans to make their life
easier. Those who know the correct application of
technology, be it any sphere of activity, have manage to
make life easier for themselves.
Technology has gifted mankind with
various boon but look closely and you will
realize that technology have mankind with
two very important aspects-facility of
communication and creation of time. Creation
of phone, fax, paging services, mobile
services, video conferencing and etc.
Few of the facilities that the human
mind has been able to conceive with the aid.
Technology has insured that one can easily
communicate with anyone on land, in air or
even of dark deep-sea.
All have played a very important part in
making the world a “Global Village”.
Yes, technology has helped man take a
small step which in time has become a giant leap
for mankind. Technology has invented and
developed to make progress and life easier and
simpler.
Systematic Approach to Teaching
It is the way of class were traditionally
conducted. The quality of instruction is improved to
a higher level in such a way that could not have
been achieved without educational technology.
This is a planning of a teacher which is on the
process of determining how and when technology fits
into teaching learning-process.
The teacher sets instructional strategies to
address specific instructional issues.
The use of technology provides
opportunities to respond to these instructional
issues.
In sum, technology occupies (is a simple or
complex way) in instructional process.

Programmed materials
Computer/laptop

Slides and transparencies

The Role of Educational Technology in Learning
Technology has had an undeniable impact on
society, especially in education. Both teachers and
students are using technology in the classroom more
frequently than ever before. The progress of
technology has had many positive effects and
outcomes for education.
Technology provide greater access to
information, supports learning, and motivates
and enhances students self-stem. Both teachers
and the students are convinced about the
important contributions educational technology
can offer.
If properly selected and used, instructional materials
can do the following:
1.Arouse and sustain the interest and attention of the
pupils/students to learn.
2.Concretize abstract concepts/ideas to promote meaningful
learning.
3.Makes learning more permanent because of the rich
experiences that they provide.
4.Provide self-activities for independent learning.
5.Increase vocabulary by eliminating verbalism.
6.Develop continuity of thought.
7.Increase the quality of learning while
decreasing to the time spent.
8.Check pupils preparedness.
9.Make learning more interactive, hence
learning is improved.
Roles of Technology in Education
1. Technology as tools to support knowledge
construction for representing learner’s ideas,
understanding and beliefs.
2.Technology as information
vehicles for exploring
knowledge to support learning-
by-constructing for accessing
needed information.
3.Technology as context to
support learning-by-doing for
representing beliefs, perspectives
and arguments of others.
4.Technology as social medium
to support learning by conversing
for collaborating with others.
5.Technology as intllectual partner
to support learning-by-reflecting
for supporting learners internal
negotiations and meaning making.
This is kind of curriculum that appreciates and deals the role
and power of technology in the learning process that serves of
collaboration in classroom that more be effective the learning process.
The hands-on activity which the prior knowledge can be used
in this, like using the Microsoft and surfing in internet that can be used
when we starting to learn to a new one application
The roles of technology in education it can be short term or
long term. This roles are be pass generation by generation and can be
more effective to the learner.
It is really helps in our studies to get more information in
social media and internet.

is considered a constructivist approach to education
and is a method of instruction through which
students interact with their environment by
exploring and manipulating objects.
Generative learning
In the generative learning environment,
students are active in constructing meaningful
understanding information found and generating
relationships among the information.
Constructivism
It is theory of knowledge that argues that
humans generate knowledge and meaning from an
interaction between their experiences and their ideas. It
has influenced a number of disciplines, including
psychology, sociology, education and the history of
science.
Learning Through Educational Technology II
Technology can be used to improve teaching
and learning and help the students to be
successful.
Technology can be a powerful tool to
reimagine learning experiences on the basis of
those insights.

Educational technology is a systematic and organized
process of applying modern technology to improve the quality
of education. We know the different learning styles and learn
more by using technology.
We are lucky that integration of technology into
teaching and learning is now in practice and included in the
curriculum. With this, even students pre-school will learn the
value and importance technologies.

Educational technology 2 helps me a lot to have a
knowledge about how technology is very important to the
students , in the teaching-learning process and also in our daily
lives. Through all of the experience that we encountered in our
Educational Technology2, we really enjoyed so much fun. We
learned about an what was the advantages and disadvantages
of technology. And also we learned what would be the
appropriate instructional media to use in teaching and the
difference of technology in terms of 30 years ago and in our
generation.
