— We hold the trademark for Green certified buildings (103) than any
Branch® locations company on Earth
• Currently 136 LEED certified projects • Achieved first LEED Platinum

• Transparent Reporting
— Publish annual Corporate Responsibility Report
— Participate in the Carbon Disclosure Project
• Energy Efficiency
— Developed company-wide energy strategy that
carefully tracks usage, installs efficient systems, and
encourages conservation
— Set goal to reduce building energy consumption 30%
by 2020 (using 2009 baseline)
• Waste Management
— Set goal to provide recycling at all facilities and
composting at all dining locations by 2013
— Pursue ways to reduce, reuse, and donate materials
to further eliminate waste

provider to the renewable energy and demand side management segments

commercial businesses and all levels of government
• Small Business Green Lending
— Provides 50% off initiation fees and 0.5% rate reduction for $500,000 (or
less) energy efficiency project loans
— Projects include the purchase of low-emission fleet vehicles, Energy Star
appliances, water efficient fixtures, and efficiency upgrades to existing
systems
• Energy Efficient Mortgages
