Name Your Business
Choose a business. It can be a real business like “Creative Dance
Studio” or “Wrestling Training Center” or it can be a truly imaginary business
like “Better Than Harry’s – Magic Wand Factory.”
I suggest you create a file folder in your computer folder to hold all the files
for this project.
Design a Logo (5 points)
Using MSPaint, or other painting program, design a logo for your
business. Do NOT just find a picture on the Internet or in clip art and use
that. Your logo must be of your own creation.
Create a Business Card (5 points)
Design a business card for you business using Microsoft Publisher. The
business card should include the logo you designed. Your business card must
also have the company name, address and phone number of the business. You
can make these up using your imagination.
Create Letterhead (5 points)
Design the letterhead for you business using Microsoft Publisher. Your
letterhead must be appropriately designed to allow for typing of a letter. It
must include your company logo, name, address, and phone number. Your may
want to include a catchy motto or phrase.
Create a Brochure (10 points)
Design a brochure for you business using Microsoft Publisher. A two-
page brochure will highlight the important details for your business. It will
briefly tell customers about your location, services, and other important
reasons they should choose your business.
