5. • Lethbridge’s “teconnect” Incubator Centre
– An incubator targeting ICT sector built in cooperation with
Blackbridge Geomatics and other community partners
• Results
• $5.5 million / 10,000 sq.ft. centre has already attracted 6
commercialization clients and 3 commercial tenants creating 14
new ICT jobs initially
• Blackbridge constructed a new adjacent building and provides up
to 20% of their Tier III data centre capacity plus operational
support for the incubator
• Economic Development Lethbridge and Blackbridge shared site
servicing and development costs reducing the overall capital
requirements by approximately $100/sq.ft.
