Isometric drawings, work with suppliers / contractors to develop system-based and manual take off as needed. Develop,
challenge and update project based productivity factors and mark ups to prepare final estimates for submission to senior
management.

2. Prepared and reviewed estimates for 19 industrial and commercial bids worth $ 19.3 M in fiscal 2014 won 8 of
those bids worth $6.3 Million.
Implemented estimation software and loaded all labor, material costs, equipment rental and other supplies into
the new software. Completed project 2 months ahead of time.
Suggested revised bid to client with 15% reduction in anticipated project cost for various major process
packages resulting in overall cost reduction of over $50,000 on individual projects.
Developed outsourcing model in estimation department to drive cost down and prevent anticipated hiring. This
process has reduced estimation department cost by about 25% and increase bid preparation / turnaround time by
35%.
Revised labor, productivity, freight and contingency costs of EPC contractor reducing cost estimate by 10%,
and at same time included additional cost items in estimate that were originally missed.
