Briquette Production Process
1) Before we are working, we usully do morning briefing.
Here we had 52 workers and 3 security.
2) The raw material coming. Raw material obtained from
Sulawesi. The raw material is charcoal packed on sack.
3) The Raw material will enter material warehouse. Our
warehouse had large 2 hectare and could acomodate until 40
ton charcoal.
4) Next step is milling the charcoal. The charcoal will be millled by big
machine. In this step it will be milled with wood appropriate depends on
request. The charcoal will be processed become like powder. If the

customer want mixed with wood the composition is 80% charcoal 20% wood. But there
are many customer want pure charcoal, so we do not mix with wood.
5) Now the charcoal ready enter the main factory. This is main
factory, there are around 50 workers and also had 2 hectare.
We could keep until 40 ton briquette here before send it. In
one day we could produce until 5,5 ton, in march we will
upgrade our ability until 6,5 ton.
6) After the charcoal become powder, the powder will be mixed
with tapioca flour. This process for make the briquette solid
and not crack easily. We will use tapioca flour 3,5% from total
dough.
7) After the powder mixed with tapioca flour, the powder dough
entered to blending machine. In this machine, the powder will
become square shape.
8) Eighth step, the powder where already had square shape
entered to ekstrude machine. In this machine, the powder dough
will be processed become rectangle before cutting process.

9) This step is cut the briquette after ekstrude process. The cutting
shape appropriate on request. But usually the shape is square.
10) After long process, now the briquette let become cold.
Because if the briquette enter oven machine on warm condition
it will crack easily. This process takes one day full.
11) Now is oven process. After the briquette let cold and solid,
the briquette entered into big oven. The oven will burning the
briquette become tougher. This process takes 18-24 hours and
the temperature could until 80 degree celcius.
12) After a long process, we have another process after the
oven process for make sure the briquette tougher. This process
mean to maintain the quality of our products. After this process,
the briquettes are ready to put in the boxes have been provided.

13) This is our packing process. The packing process uses 32
worker but could add appropriate how many briquette will send
to customer.
14) This is our briquette after packed into carton and then into
big carton before enter container. In every carton has weight 1
kg.
15) Last step is entered the briquette into big container. The
loading will takes half day before send to harbour. We are
usually use Tanjung Emas harbour in Surabaya to shiping.
16) we usually use container 20 fett and could carry until 18-24 ton.

Our products have the advantages, namely:
 Our briquettes company, Pringgondani obtain a license from Sucofindo. Sucofindo is an
Indonesian state-owned enterprises engaged in the inspection, supervision, testing, and
assessment. Diversity Sucofindo services packaged in an integrated, laboratory network,
branches and service points in various cities in Indonesia and supported by 2,646 service
professionals who are experts in their field.
 We have three security guards with the security standards of education of Police
3.
 Having a worker who goes according to SOP production and maintaining product quality
and work using safety standard.
 We have a clear SOPs in every process, from the selection of materials, mixing, the
selection after the dough, cutting up bricket certainly would put half of oven dried to
prevent cracking.
 Having an appropriate standard Regional Minimum Wage (UMR), to maintain quality of
the production, so that employees work in accordance with the applicable rules.
 We have the oven with a capacity of 5.5 tons, with heating at 80 degrees Celsius.
 After removal from the oven, bricket not directly enter the packing process, but allowed
to stand for 1 day to ensure bricket really solid and there is no rift.
 In the packaging really been in accordance with the standards and ensure that the weight
in kilograms bricket on demand.
 We have 4 Supervisor, 1 Manager and make a daily report every day to the chief
executive so that quality control of products bricket awake.
 orderly scheduling of the delivery of the process of transporting up to the port.
