Introduction
Traveling is my passion. In fact, I've been to various countries in Europe. As I write this, I
recall the times I spent in France, experiencing the sights and sounds of "La Ville-Lumière,"
the City of Light – Paris. And that time I went to Buñol in Valencia, Spain to witness
firsthand “La Tomatina,” the tomato festival. Apart from my great desire to travel, I share
the same enthusiasm for my multi-state business investments; I even own my personal
wine boutique here in Wyoming. The reason why I am pointing these out is because I am
able to do all the things I love by managing my time correctly. Instead of considering it my
enemy, I use time to my advantage and make it work with me, not against me.
I have met many individuals whom I believed had great potential, but did not follow
through with their goals and dream projects. This was either due to procrastination or
poor work patterns that led them into sabotaging their ambitions. I felt the need to write
this book to let people know that there is a way to get yourself out of a rut – and that
solution is time management.

organizing and budgeting your time in the interest of raising productivity and efficacy.
There are many ways to go about achieving proper time management, and because of the
bustling nature of the corporate world, it has become very vital.

for leaders and organizations, but applying it on an individual level is just as important. If
you are a college graduate looking to work for a prestigious firm, or if you already are a
business owner, balancing your personal and professional responsibilities requires the

Don’t get me wrong, quality control in business is essential, and I believe in being able to
deliver the best of the best when it comes to the final output. Perfectionism, however, can
go out of hand and can actually deter a person from performing at his fullest. If you’ve
ever gotten a B- in class and then you ended up kicking yourself for about a month, then
that’s a sign that you may be a perfectionist.
We often have very competitive mindsets and we tend to race against the clock in order to
beat deadlines, meet our quotas, or close the best deals, but for me, there’s a thin line
that divides healthy determination and excessive perfectionism. Research has shown that
perfectionism can sometimes lead to mood disorders and relationship problems.
