freedom which greatly contribute to improving both the
world and our individual lives based on:
• freedom of movement,
• transparency of decision mechanisms,
• openness of information,
• participation in democratic processes,
• freedom of expression at a global level,
• free commerce and greater global competition“.

WHAT LORD KELVIN WAS SAYING?
I often say that when you can
measure what you are
speaking about, and express it
in numbers, you know
something about it; but when
you cannot express it in
numbers, your knowledge is of
a meagre and unsatisfactory
kind; it may be the beginning of
knowledge, but you have
scarcely, in your thoughts,
advanced to the stage of
science, whatever the matter
may be.” —Lord Kelvin,
November 1883

On the world Internet map Slovenia is highly
ranked regarding the percentage of IPv6 nodes in the Slovenian,
Internet infrastructure however,
DNSSES deployment is rather very slow or almost non-existing…
and this is one of the many reason why this conference
organized by Internet Society and the partners is very
welcomed!
Some countries claim that with DNSSEC in the banking
system the fishing almost disappeared!
