$36 million loan from BOAD-BIDC and $20 million from EXIM Bank of India. Years spent as CEO of VITIB
brought unprecedented improvements to the institution to the satisfaction of the shareholders (State of
CI, MTN, Atlantique Telecom, Shapoorji and United Telecom of India).
Major Achievements
• Stabilization of the deteriorated financial situation within 6 months of exercise
• Absorption in 2 years of exercise of the $4 million loss per year that the institution recorded in
its account over several years
• Establishment of a Project Implementation Unit to administer the international tenders
according to the donors standards such as the West African Development Bank (BOAD), the
Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) and EXIM Bank of India
