Current Locum Staffing Manager
London North West Healthcare – Northwick Park hospital
I work as part of a team. I manage all A&C,AHP requests/bookings from all wards and
departments within NPH,CMH and St Mark's.I'm able to do this by conversing with
employees on our Staff Bank and outside agencies(on the government procurement
agreement).I meet regularly with agencies to review staffing needs and to discuss any
issues that need to be resolved.Deputise in the absence of the Nurse manager on a regular
basis. To lead and manage the booking team and to assist in the smooth operation of the
temporary staffing service. deal with complaints from ward manager's regarding problems
with bank staff. Meet with bank staff who have issues with their managers and try to find a
solution. Process completed timesheets on Maps and Healthroster computer system
accurately and efficiently and then check and print off reports. Produce a weekly
spreadsheet for payroll for staff that need to be paid manually. Provide assistance and
information to temporary staff with payroll enquiries by email, telephone and in person.
Set up new starters and assignments on ESR and then set up on Maps database. Interview
candidates for administration roles(prior to the interview candidates would be required to
take a test which they have to pass in order to proceed to interview). General admin
duties; photocopying,scanning,faxing.
