Re: David Mosk
To Whom It May Concern:
I understand that one of my former assistants, Mr. David Mosk, is considering looking for
new employment and I am writing this recommendation letter on his behalf.
As you may know, Price Law Group is a boutique law firm specializing in consumer
bankruptcy matters. David worked with us at Price Law Group for almost two years back
in the 2002-2004 range. I had been working personally with David for this entire period
and came to find his office presence, professionalism and dedication to be invaluable.
While here, his salary was commission-based; however, the base offered him was
$35,000 per year.
As a debt management consultant here at Price Law Group, David assisted myself and the
other attorneys in all aspects of the firm's practice here. He had proven himself
instrumental in our handling of the administrative tasks associated with bankruptcies and
negotiations. David also handled a wide variety of office administrative (non client)
responsibilities, including everything from routine computer maintenance to preparing
forms and practice guides. David had a knack for understanding the larger picture
involved in his responsibilities and piecing together remote pieces of our practice.
David also possessed an uncanny willingness to take initiative. He had taken a genuine
interest in resolving the clients' problems and assisting the other employees and staff in all
ways possible. Anywhere he saw an opportunity to assist, David dedicated himself to
learning and becoming an asset. When the phone was ringing, he moved to answer it
even though there were four full-time receptionists on duty. The words "that is not part of
my job" are not in his vocabulary.
As my assistant, David became very involved with my cases and clients. Often, I found
my clients were working directly with him. This is especially impressive considering the
intense nature of our practice, and the demands our clients make. For me, it is generally
not easy to "let go" and trust anyone with important responsibilities and direct client
accountability. However, David's work ethic and sense of responsibility quickly
engendered a sense of trust from the entire office. I did not even question what he was
doing with my clients, I just trusted him to let me know whatever it is that I needed to know.
David was probably one of the most organized and efficient employees in the office. His
"mail" and "phone message" boxes were always empty. All of his projects were handled

2. immediately. Most impressively, somehow he managed it all without a messy desk or a
show of stress or impatience. Nothing was misplaced or was unaccounted for. This did
wonders for my work performance and certainly made me sleep easier.
David was never late to work, he almost never left early, he never seemed bothered with
any personal matters and he never reduced himself to petty gossip or bickering with co
workers. Such maturity and dedication are rare at any level and had been unheard of
with the legal assistants, at least at our company. In addition, David demonstrated
tremendous competence, professionalism and sincerity with his co-workers and our
clients. We still talk about how many compliments we received, from clients, opposing
attorneys, and even from creditors, regarding David's communication skills.
Finally, David had a bright, pleasant demeanor and brought up the morale of the entire
office with his constant smile, playful innocence and positive attitude. He also remained
emotionally mature under even some very stressful and insane circumstances. I strongly
support him in his endeavors, whatever they may be.
