2. Why D.A.D.?
• We teach on the same terrain that your
customers operate in.
• We also use Bureau of Land Management
(BLM) property which allows us to train covertly
and at night which allows the military client to
maintain a level of secrecy and anonymity.
• We would teach in Streit USA armored vehicles.

4. Why DAD?
• D.A.D. is a multifaceted driving school. We
teach on-road, high threat, dignitary
protection and high performance driving. We
also teach off road driving, unimproved road
(gravel) driving as well as HMMWV, ATV,
Motorcycle and 4x4 truck driving. We teach
“real world” vehicle driving in austere
environments - we attempt to duplicate the
domains that our students operate in.

of machines to edge of their
capabilities safely.
• Dignitary Protection/Motorcade
driving techniques
• High speed and low speed “High
Threat” driving techniques- used to
catch someone and used to get away
from a threat.
• HMMWV expert
• We use “in country” vehicles, no flashy
race cars here; Large European sedans,
rear wheel drive, front wheel drive,
4x4 and trucks found in the Middle
East are our training platforms.

• D.A.D is based at the Reno-Fernley Racetrack - 30 miles East of Reno
• 28 miles West of Naval Air Station in Fallon Nevada (home of the
Navy's Top Gun base and SEALs "ground mobility "training unit)
• 4000 ft elevation high desert training environment which duplicates
the Middle East terrain like no place else in the US.
• Close enough to access an International airport but remote enough
to train with relative privacy.

9. Expertise:
• David (Dave) Gengenbach is the owner and founder of
Direct Action Driving.
• Dave has 20 years experience in driver training
• He has been teaching the military in high threat
environment type driving for 15 years.
• Dave served as a Personal Detail Driver for the CIA and
“other government agencies” in Afghanistan in 2009. Dave
drove a Streit USA Truck while in Afghanistan.
• D.A.D instructors are all former military, special operators,
professional driving instructors or law enforcement.
