Case Study: Software Distributor
Our client a database marketing & consulting agency realized that new ACT! software
sales was their best opportunity to sell consulting and training services. The problem
they had was their site didn’t appear on ACT! software searches. A thorough rewrite &
optimization of existing copy, as well as content addition boosted their software related
searches from 250 in April of 2008 when we started to 512 in July 2008.
On going consulting includes site conversion architecture, search engine optimization and
website analytics to increase traffic, conversion and understanding of consumer needs..
So many websites rank #1 for their branded search terms. However, the only searchers
that use those terms are your existing clients or competitors. Gaining new customers and
getting your website noticed in the search engines begins with well optimized relevant
content. Once you have traffic you’ll need to closely analyze your visitor behavior to
increase lead conversions with conversion funnels customized for the different visitor
types and the unique questions they might have.

Case Study: North American Industrial Starter & Alternator Manufacturer & Distributor
Another example of a client that saw success with paid search marketing and wanted to
expand that exposure to free search traffic. Providing OEM and replacement parts for
commercial vehicles, industrial equipment and off-highway vehicles, new clients are
often repeat customers and average customer value can be high. They have a very good
customer retention program in place and very good product line to ensure ROI from our
optimized content and essential SEO setup. They began with 25-pages of optimized
content in the spring of 2007 and had such remarkable results they decided to expand the
program to 100 pages of optimized content in the fall of 2007.
Getting a significant increase in free or organic traffic is just the first step in the
optimization process. Converting on that traffic is the next trick!
