Breakfast Republic
Breakfast Republic’s Instagram account is proof that breakfast can go
beyond ho-hum Benedicts, pancakes and coffee. Look for monthly
specials, along with fun dishes like spectacular dark chocolate raspberry
mochas, mesmerizing churro pancakes and more, all available at the
North Park eatery.
Azucar
Owner and baker Vivian Hernandez-Jackson runs Azucar’s drool-worthy
account and posts regular snaps of some of the Ocean Beach bakery’s
best goodies including her latest creation, mango cheesecake.

Anthony Sinsay
The personal account of Anthony Sinsay showcases his diverse menu at
Duke’s La Jolla with snaps of bison kilawin and long bean almandine. But
it’s what he cooks at home like handmade pici noodles with Bolognese
that makes us want to be a guest at his table.
Jennywenny Cakes
Think cakes are only about frosting? Jennywenny Cakes' Jenny Williams
shares pics highlighting her creative decorating techniques (we
absolutely love her edible handmade flowers) and tales of delivering
wedding cakes in one piece. These are just two reasons why this brilliant
baker owns one of San Diego’s go-to places for intricately decorated
pastries.
Richard Blais
The shots on Richard Blais’ Instagram feed are as fun as his food.
Whether it’s a stack of lunch options from Crack Shack or his take on the
Caesar salad with duck, the hands-down favorites are the ones featuring
Blais himself.

(it's got more than 37,000 followers to date). Owner Santiago Campa’s
account highlights include daily donut specials and videos of guests
digging into the shop’s crazy creations.

Enigmatic Javier
Plascencia promotes Bracero Cocina, Romesco and Tijuana’s Mision 19 whenever he gets a chance, but some of the
best photos are of him hopping around the globe.
Cueva Bar
What’s good to eat at University Heights’ Cueva Bar? Just about
everything on the menu if chef Oz Blackaller’s Instagram account is any
indication (see the caprese strudel). Follow the account for specials and
fun events too.
Christopher Osborne
What otherworldly camera is chef Chris Osborne’s using to take photos of
his dishes at Cowboy Star? No matter, every photo Osborne posts — from
the cocktails to a spiny lobster ceviche — looks like it belongs in a glossy
magazine.

You may not know the name Alex Emery now, but given his
beautiul Instagram account and serious kitchen talent, he’ll soon be a big
player in the local scene. From his kitchen at the Hilton Bayfront Hotel,
Emery posts mesmerizing photos of dishes like salmon crudo, as well as
fun pics of the whole crew.
