company Logo?
• The reason as why I chose my production
company logo for this film because this is
along the lines of a murder mystery and the
magnifying glass represents that. The title in it
helps the logo because it tells you that this
company makes murder mysteries film or
helps to make them.
3. What is production company? What
do they do?
• A production company helps provide the
physical basis for areas in new art media,
television, performing arts, radio, video and
film. What it does it it helps to create a film by
helping with the script, the budget, the cast
and plenty more. The also have the task of
trying to find a director. They also responsible
for when an actor is injured or when
equipment gets damaged.
4. What is the job of a film distributor?
• The job the film distributor is to send the film out
all across the planet. The make the decision as to
when and where the film should be shown and
they also find ways to promote it. The first thing
they do is decide how many copies they have to
make. It's then previewed to buyers e.g. cinema
owners. Eventually it gets sent out to the owners
just before it's available to watch. Once its been
sent for people to view it sent back to distributors
and payment is agreed.
5. Which film distributor would you chose for your film
and why? What other films have they distributed that
are similar to yours?
• The film distributor I have chosen is Warner
Bros. because they are a big worldwide
company that can help distribute it
worldwide. Also they can help promote
certain films that can be low budget besides
they've released low budget films like the
Hobbit. The films they have distributed that
could be similar in someways to this is
Sherlock Holmes and Scooby Doo.
6. How will you film be funded?
• Our film will be sponsored by the lottery due
to the amount of people who buy the lottery
ticket across the country and hopeful from the
funds that are raised the amount that we
need to get the film up and running will be
enough get it to the cinema.
7. Titles- Why do you need them? How have
you presented them?
• The reason as to why I need titles in my
opening is because it helps know helped with
the creation of the film, what the title of the
film is and who the members of the cast are.
The way the titles appear and disappear is it
appears out of thin air starting from the left to
the right and continues through in the same
direction to make it disappear.
8. What films have influenced you from the
industry and why?
• Sherlock Holmes has become an influence
because he is the best detective ever created
and the murders he had to deal with have
become influence and think of something
thats not been thought of yet.
