Using just an ordinary deck of cards with 10s and picture cards taken out
Have a friend choose a card without showing you
Tell your friend to
l Multiply the number on the card by 2
l Add 3 to the result
l Multiply this latest result by 5
If the card is a club add 1 It the card is a diamond add 2
If the card is a heart add 3 If the card is a spade add 4
l Tell you the final answer
You then subtract 15 from the answer and work out what
the card is by :
The number of tens give you the value
The units give the suit as in the instructions
Eg 63 would be the 6 of clubs
24 would be the 2 of spades
Mind Reader
Choose any number between 1 and 10
Multiply by 9
Add the two digits together
Add 4
I will predict that your answer is 13
