unforgettable experiences?
Libertad y Orden
Colombia is the land of startling contrasts and unlimited
possibilities; a country that has a vast culture, geography,
and a history that sets it apart from the rest offering unique,
magical, authentic, and unforgettable travel experiences.
Tourists from around the world are beginning to discover
Colombia in its fullness, and this realization has bolstered our
commitment to strengthen the hotel infrastructure, to develop
the regions, to increase security, to improve services, and to
reinforce our competitiveness to have a tourism industry
that is comprehensive, diverse, and innovative. Colombia has
become a fashionable destination and has been hailed as one
of the most influential emerging countries in the world due to
the size of its economy, its population and its territory, for the
commitment from its institutions, its economic stability, its
strategic location and its natural wealth. To top it all off, its
gamut of tropical, equatorial, and rugged landscapes provide a
wide range of ecosystems. Lastly, as a result from the mix of
indigenous, European and African cultures, Colombia offers an
assortment of popular cultural events, fairs, and festivals just
like the Carnival of Barranquilla, the Carnival of Blacks and
Whites in Pasto, the Medellin Flower Fair, Easter celebration
in Popayan, the Festival of the Vallenato Legend in Valledupar,
among many other celebrations and attractions which are
inside this publication for you to discover. If you want to find a
place with magical realism, do not wait any longer: the answer
is Colombia.

Colombia is a Social State of Law organized as a unitary
constitutional republic with a political centralization and
administrative decentralization. Public power is divided into
three branches: legislative, executive, and judicial where various

that were the scene of battles and conquests as Cartagena,
where the forts and monuments have been declared by the
UNESCO as a World Heritage Site?

The abundant wealth of natural resources found in Colombia has turned it

performed in places surrounded by green landscapes, waterfalls, and villages that
maintain their traditions, rituals, and culture.
One of its main advantages is the variety of products and the ability the country
has to produce fruit, flowers, and plants with unique medicinal properties mostly
driven by its privileged year round geographical location close to the equator.
These elements are used as ingredients for health and beauty treatments in
