• Technology SMEs in NSW

• Scalable across a sector
• Sectors: E-health, advanced manufacturing, energy technologies and
services, online & interactive education, and transport, logistics &
infrastructure
• Using 'enabling technologies'

3. INNOVATE NSW – Funding Elements
Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
– $15k: Prove the Concept – early stage development
– 3 month project period
TechVouchers (TV)
– $15k: Prove the Technology – early stage research
– 3 month project period
Collaborative Solutions (CS)
– $100k: Form a Consortia – full-scale development and piloting
of a solution
– 9-12 month project period

6. Collaborative Solutions
Goals:
• Foster collaboration between:
– tech SMEs,
– multinational corporations, and
– businesses in key sectors
• Deliver compelling, new-to-market B2B solutions
• Accelerate NSW innovation, revenue, jobs, export
Grants:
• Maximum of 25% of project costs up to $100,000

7. Consortium-Backed Solutions
A consortium must have:
• Consortium Lead (technology SME - applicant)
• Consortium Partner (contributes additional capabilities)
• Pilot Organisation (end-user - guides development &
pilots solution)
