- evoking pity or terror
     -murderous/cruel action
     -hamartia
- should come from the plot,
   not actors
The Four Possible Variations
     of the Tragic Nexus

  1.Action not done
  2.Action done w/full knowing
  3. Knowing too late
  4. Knowing and Stopping
Do Not Show ....
1. Prosperous man losing fortune
2. Poor man gaining fortune
3. Evil man losing fortune
4. Enemy vs.enemy
