• Performed duties as the lead SNAP instructor training approximately 300 military personnel on
the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting procedures, and component fault isolation steps.
• Completed Network Engineer tasks by generating, modifying, and loading configurations in mul-
tiple Cisco devices to provide internet and IP phone services to end users.
• Ensured the proper Cisco IOS, and phone loads have been added to the flash.
• Upgrade satellite modems’ firmware, IP module’s, and software versions.
• Installed proper laptop images to ensure systems are up to date and in compliance with company
and military directives.
• Configured the KG-175D and KG-250 model cryptographic devices to ensure security of classi-
fied information.
• Ensured information security measures were upheld utilizing firewalls and computer based secu-
rity software programs.
• Utilized test diagnostic equipment such as multi-meters, cable testers, spectrum analyzers and
software programs in order to isolate equipment failures, connectivity issues, RF frequency

Network (SWAN), and AN/WSC 6 which is a Maritime VSAT system.
• Played a key role as an operator in the interoperability tests that ensure peak efficiency of equip-

band Satellite Terminal while deployed to Kandahar Air Field from February 2010 to October
