Powerhouse Acquires Compact Power Machine Tool Repair Division
1. Powerhouse Mechanical Repair Acquires
Compact Power Systems Machine Tool Repair Division
11/4/16
Powerhouse Mechanical Repair, Inc. acquired the Machine Tool Repair Division of Compact Power Services. With
this merger, Powerhouse takes another leap forward towards their Corporate Vision, which is to go broad and deep
with the services we provide to their customers.
Chris Grice, the Vice President of Sales at Powerhouse, noted, “With this acquisition, Powerhouse will fold in
experienced Machine Tool Repair technicians, masters in the Repair, Re-Engineering and Upfit of machine tools.
The folks in Machine Tool Repair work to a whole new level of tight tolerances and the education they provide
through cross-training will reap huge benefits to our customers.”
“Imagine a Field Service Technician who can serve in a high capacity at so many levels when they are on-site during
a customer outage: A Precision Millwright who is also an experienced Laser Metrology Technician. A Shop
Machinist who can help diagnose and repair machine tools. A Welder/Fabricator who is also a qualified On-Site/In-
Place Field Machinist. You drastically reduce the number of sub-contractors and on-site personnel during your
outage when you contract with Powerhouse”, Grice was quoted as saying.
