2. What genre is it? The genre is a thriller/horror
Who/what is it about? Everything seems normal for the single dad, he finishes working, locks the
front door and then puts his girl to bed. he kisses his baby girl goodnight, turns off all the lights
except her nightlight and the landing and slides into bed. He wakes up and he doesn’t know why, so
he gets out of bed and goes downstairs to get a glass of water, as he is trudging upstairs the entrance
hall light flickers and his daughter screams for him. He drops the glass of water which smashes and
then he runs upstairs as fast as he can. His daughter is on her bed cowering under the covers with just
her eyes above the blanket, she asks her dad to look under the bed for monsters, the dad looks under
he bed and sees his daughter there, she whispers ‘ daddy there's someone on my bed’ he jumps up in
fear but ready to hit whatever's on his bed, nothings there, he looks under the bed again and no ones
there. Then he hears his daughter scream from downstairs, film ends.
Where is it set? In a typical family house
What are the themes? Horror, jump scares, demons.
What is the film's message? The message is that humans cant compete against the supernatural.
Why would the target audience like it/pay to see it? This would be a different horror, as it isn't
reliant on gory things to scare people, its designed to mess with peoples heads and really freak the
audience out, its an atmospheric horror.

4. - Create a visual mood board of similar films and influences
5. TARGET AUDIENCE
• The target audience for the film would be anyone aged 15 and over, this is because the
film involves children, and really messes with your head, so other children would not be
allowed to see it as it has such a mature theme. I’m looking for horror enthusiasts to
come forward and review the film as it would greatly benefit for when we make the final
cut.
