1. Question 6: What have you learnt
about technologies from the process
of constructing this product?
Photoshop: When I did my school magazine, I was having trouble with
Photoshop and its tools. For this reason, it looks terrible. Colour
scheme is poor and overall layout is poor. But now, after learning how
to use Photoshop and its functions, my music magazine is much
better. The layers in the pages are used efficiently and clearly. There is
variety in my magazine pages whilst still retaining the house style.
This shows how well I am able to use the paint brush, bucket tool etc.
2. Camera: Whilst using basic cameras to take photos for a photography
course, I just about could use basic camera, as well as when taking
photos fro my school magazine. Now after doing my music magazine
and taking photos with the professional camera (Canon EOS 600D) I feel
like I can now cycle through the different functions and shot types of
the camera to take suitable photos
3. When first using blog.com to work on my school magazine and
music magazine I found it very difficult to edit and upload
posts. It became an annoying process during the first uses.
After working with the site as a blog for my media course, and
after working on my music magazine for a while, I’ve learnt to
use blog.com well enough that I can upload, editing and delete
posts.
