GMG - whose portfolio also includes joint ventures Trader Media Group and Top Right Group - is owned by The Scott Trust Ltd, which exists to secure the independence of the Guardian in perpetuity. Andrew joined GMG as Chief Financial Officer in 2009. Prior to that, he was for six years Chief Financial Officer of Trader Media Group (TMG), where he played a leading role in Auto Trader's enormously successful transition from print to digital publishing. Andrew has also worked at Pepsico, Bass plc and Procter & Gamble. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, having gained his accountancy qualification with Price Waterhouse.
